Government Relations

NECSEMA’s #1 priority is to be the voice of convenience retailers and wholesale energy marketers at the state, local, and with our national partners NACS and PMAA, the federal level.  NECSEMA retains professional lobbying firms in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut who ensure NECSEMA staff and members are well informed of legislative and regulatory activity that may impact our industries.  As the recognized regional authority on c-store and energy matters, NECSEMA is well positioned to educate lawmakers and advocate the best interests of its member companies.

NECSEMA updates its members on legislative and regulatory activity each week via its e-newsletter, Weekly Update, and will notify its membership via email when specific, urgent action is required.

To learn more about the issues NECSEMA is actively monitoring contact Peter Brennan at peter@necsema.net.
