Why Join?
Legislative Protection
NECSEMA’s number one priority is to be your voice on the state, local and federal level. We keep you informed about the issues affecting your business in New England by engaging with legislators and regulators. NECSEMA has five State Chapters (CT, ME, MA, NH & RI) that represent the industry at the state and local level. These State Chapters are made up of retail, energy and supplier members who volunteer their time and talents to protect the industry's key categories and interests. Each State Chapter works with a lobbyist and NECSEMA staff member. Legislators know that NECSEMA’s lobbyists and grassroots legislative network will aggressively represent the interests of all its members.
Business Contacts & Networking
Retailers and Wholesale Energy Marketers recognize NECSEMA Affiliate members as strong supporters of the industry. Social events provide opportunities to meet with colleagues in an informal setting to expand your circle of valuable business contacts. NECSEMA’s Annual Meeting, Table Top Networking Reception and Dinner held each fall includes programs designed to provide vendors, retailers and energy marketers with opportunities for one on one communication, interaction, and education.
Trade Show
NECSEMA'S Trade Show is a perfect vehicle to establish your presence in the New England marketplace.
It gives you the opportunity to meet thousands of convenience store owners, energy marketers, buyers, and executives, all under one roof.
Exhibiting in the Trade Show also gives you the opportunity to increase sales and profits, introduce new products and merchandising ideas, and socialize with you colleagues.
Resources
As a member you will receive the membership/resource directory, a one stop shop for information and business to business contacts. Our new website also provides more resources in Member Zone – such as links to NACS and PMAA as well as directly to the state legislatures. We also provide e-alerts and E-Newletters to keep you informed and up to date on key issues that may affect your business.
